Nutrien Wonderhub, Saskatchewan’s Children’s Museum, is adding new members to our Board of Directors.
Our mission is to nurture creativity, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning in children. Our Board members are energetic and adaptive professionals who are excited by the changes taking place in our organization as we continue to learn and grow. If you are passionate about the growth and development of children, the importance of STEAM education, and the joy of learning through play – we need you!
Expectations: Members of Nutrien Wonderhub’s Board of Directors prepare for, attend, and participate in 6 board meetings per year. In addition, each member is asked to join one of our four standing committees. Committees meet 6 times per year, in opposite months from our board meetings.
Areas of Expertise: Our Board has identified the following areas of expertise to compliment our existing composition:
- Financial management
- Risk management
Community Representation: Nutrien Wonderhub seeks to build a governing board that is reflective of the community we serve. To that end, we are particularly interested in recruiting Board members can represent the interests and voices of our diverse communities within Saskatchewan (e.g., Indigenous, People of Colour, People living with disabilities, newcomer communities, 2SLGBTQ+).
Application Process: Interested parties can send a resume or cv to email@example.com after which you will be asked to complete a short survey. Responses will be collected until July 13th, 2020. Applicants may be asked to interview in person or by phone. Selections will be made in November and successful applicants will be confirmed at our AGM in December.
