Director of Finance

We’re Hiring a Director of Finance!

Join Nutrien Wonderhub, Saskatchewan’s only children’s museum, as our Director of Finance! This full-time, temporary (14-month term) role offers an exciting opportunity to lead financial operations while helping us create a sustainable future for children and families to learn, play, and explore.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead budgeting, financial planning, and reporting.
• Oversee audits, payroll, benefits, and compliance.
• Provide strategic advice to the CEO, leadership team, and Board of Directors.
• Supervise and mentor our Finance Coordinator.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Wonderhub’s mission.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5–7 years of accounting or financial management experience (non-profit experience is a plus!).
• A degree in accounting, finance, or business (CPA or MBA is an asset).
• Expertise in QuickBooks, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• A commitment to inclusion, diversity, and equity.

Other Details:

• Located in Saskatoon with some travel required.
• Occasional evening/weekend availability for meetings or events.
• Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required.
