We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dynamic Education Manager! If you’re passionate about childhood education and love creating fun, STEAM-based learning experiences, this is the role for you! 🚀

POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director of Education and Exhibits, the Education Manager will lead our fabulous team of Education Facilitators. You’ll be key in developing and delivering our annual Program Plan and Access Program, and building fantastic partnerships with community organizations to bring learning to life! ✨

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership

• Champion the museum’s mission, vision, and values.
• Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, and fun! 🎉

Educational Programming

• Create and implement amazing STEAM-based programs.
• Ensure programs align with the Saskatchewan curriculum.
• Plan and coordinate epic events like Workshops, Family Nights, and Camps! 🎨🔬
• Manage budgets and keep our supplies stocked and ready for action. 📚💡

Supervision

• Inspire and supervise our team of Education Facilitators.
• Hire, train, and support temporary staff with a smile! 😊

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Degree in elementary or early childhood education, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in program coordination and delivery for children.
• Management experience and STEAM training are big pluses!
• Strong understanding of child development and experiential learning.
• Exceptional communication and public speaking skills.
• Passion for inclusion, diversity, and equity.
