Are you a hands-on problem-solver who is passionate about creating and maintaining engaging, safe, and educational spaces for children? Do you have experience in exhibit preparation, maintenance, or facility management? Nutrien Wonderhub is looking for a Museum Preparator to join our team!

You’ll oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of our interactive exhibits, ensuring they’re always safe, functional, and welcoming for our guests. You’ll manage budgets, coordinate with contractors, and work closely with our Director of Education and Exhibits to enhance our visitors’ experience.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

🔹 Exhibit & Facilities Maintenance: Oversee regular inspections, maintenance, and repair of all interactive exhibits to keep them safe, functional, and engaging.

🔹 Project Oversight: Plan and manage exhibit upgrades, modifications, and new installations during periods of closure.

🔹 Administration: Monitor budgets, prepare detailed reports, and collaborate on developing cleaning and maintenance schedules.

🔹 Team Coordination: Assign tasks to our part-time Museum Technician and coordinate with external contractors for complex repairs.

What we’re looking for:

🔸 Relevant technical certification or vocational training is an asset.

🔸 Experience in exhibit preparation, facility maintenance, or a similar environment.

🔸 Strong project management and problem-solving skills.

🔸 Ability to work with power and hand tools and read technical drawings and blueprints.

🔸 Proficiency in computer and technology skills.

🔸A commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all.

In return, we offer:

💼 Salary range: $50,918 – $63,648
