🏫 Location: Nutrien Wonderhub, Saskatoon, SK

đź’° Compensation: $50,918 – $63,648/year (37.5 hours per week)

As the Sponsorship and Events Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of corporate sponsors and partners. You’ll work closely with the Director of Development, who focuses on major gifts and grants, and the Development Coordinator, who focuses on annual and mid-level giving and membership, as well as with marketing and operations staff, to grow the museum’s corporate sponsorship revenue and deliver effective and memorable fundraising events. Your responsibilities will include:

🔍 Corporate Sponsorship Development: Lead the cultivation and management of corporate sponsorship revenue.

🎉Sponsorship Activation & Stewardship: Ensure sponsors receive full value and recognition for their support.

📋Fundraising Events: Lead Wonderhub’s fundraising events, in consultation with the Director of Development.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required for this role.
  • Two to four years of experience in fund development, sponsorship, corporate partnerships, business development, event planning, or a related sales/fundraising role.
  • Experience planning and executing fundraising or special events is an asset.
  • Experience in the arts, museum, or non-profit sector is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and close sponsorship or partnership agreements, with comfort prospecting, pitching, and negotiating with corporate decision-makers.
  • Strong event planning and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple sponsor relationships and event timelines simultaneously.
  • Proficient working within a customer relationship management (CRM) system.

Other Considerations:

  • This is a one-year term position (August 2026 – August 2027), with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role based on performance, sponsorship revenue results, and organizational need; this will be discussed with the incumbent in advance of the term’s end.
  • Current Criminal Record Check required upon offer of employment.
  • This position requires travel within Saskatoon; a valid driver’s license as well as access to a vehicle is essential.
  • Must be available during non-regular business hours, such as evenings and weekends, to attend sponsor meetings and fundraising events occasionally.
