Are you between the ages of 15-17 and looking for a fun opportunity this summer to gain experience working with children and summer camps while helping foster creativity, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning? Nutrien Wonderhub, Saskatchewan’s only children’s museum, is looking for volunteers to join our team this summer as Youth Summer Camp Volunteers.

🚀Position: Youth Summer Camp Volunteer (multiple positions open)

📅 Duration: July & August 2024 (minimum of 1 week/camp commitment with additional 2 hour training)

🏫 Location: Nutrien Wonderhub, Saskatoon, SK

💰 Compensation: Volunteer position

Summer Camp volunteers work closely with a team of staff and volunteers in Saskatchewan’s only children’s museum on the delivery of enriching experiences through the museum’s Summer Wonder Camp program. Supported by a team of permanent Education Facilitators, the Summer Camp Volunteers work with our staff to maintain an engaging, safe, and playful environment for all campers between the ages of five to ten. Here is what you will be doing:

🔍 Program and Camp Preparation: Assist with set-up and clean-up camp spaces.

🎉Program and Camp Delivery: Engage campers in hands-on activities and ensure the safety and well-being of all participants and visitors.

📋Program and Camp Evaluation: Gather feedback and make improvements for an even better experience.

💫 Other Responsibilities: Uphold our mission, vision, and values while creating a welcoming, fun, and enriching environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Interest in childhood development and education.
• Experience working with elementary school-age children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Criminal Record Check required.
