Creative Science is led by our Education Facilitator and resident dino-expert, Riley! Each week, families will explore a new science concept in a fun, engaging, and hands on way. Kids will dive in and explore the worlds of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Through exciting projects and experiments, children develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills while having fun with interactive learning. Each session sparks creativity and curiosity in young minds!
July 16 – Creative Science: Fossils

Have you ever wondered how a fossil becomes a fossil? Join us to learn about the different types of fossils and how an organism may end up as a fossil. Investigate our real-life fossil collection as we explore the natural processes of fossilization and how biology and geology overlap.
Activity: Dig for fossils in ice or sand. Handle and explore our real-life rock and fossil collections!
