Creative Tales with Betty & Maureen: Leaves!🍂
This week, Betty & Maureen will read Leaves! by beloved Canadian author Robert Munsch.
“It’s fall, and the front yard is full of colourful leaves. Dad asks Sidney and Alex to rake them all up, and when they find Dad’s fancy new leaf blower in the garage they are excited to try it out. What could possibly go wrong?”
After the story, little ones can explore their creativity with a fun nature-inspired craft! Kids will trace a variety of leaf shapes onto black construction paper using vibrant chalk pastels. Afterward, they’ll use soft towels to blend the colors, creating a beautiful, glowing effect that mimics the rich tones of fall foliage.
