Join us for Green Shirt Day at Wonderhub as we celebrate kindness, helping others, and thinking about the people around us. Children can take part in green-themed crafts and simple activities focused on caring, sharing, and being a helper.

Green Shirt Day honours Logan Boulet of the Humboldt Broncos and encourages family conversations about kindness and generosity. Activities will be age-appropriate for young children and focused on creativity and positive values including kindness.

Why Green Shirt Day? Green Shirt Day is held each year on April 7 in honour of Logan Boulet, a Humboldt Broncos player whose decision to register as an organ donor inspired a national movement of kindness and giving.

At Wonderhub, activities are designed to be age-appropriate and focus on:

✔ Being kind

✔ Helping others

✔ Learning about our bodies in simple ways

✔ Talking about caring and generosity

Wonderhub will have a simple body colouring prompt and a human body play model out in Create Space from April 5-11. This is an opportunity for families to explore big ideas in small, gentle ways and to start conversations at home about helping others and making thoughtful choices. These activities are self-led.

Join us on April 19 for our Wonder Club drop-in program for a guided activity led by our Education Facilitators and a facilitator from the Saskatchewan Health Authority!
