🌊Ocean Week with Wonderhub

Nutrien Wonderhub is excited to be the Ocean Week Saskatoon Regional Hub Coordinator for Ocean Week Canada this June! 🌊 We’re celebrating with over a week of ocean-inspired activities for the whole family.

What’s on for Ocean Week:

• June 3: Join us for Creative Tales with Betty and Maureen: Ocean Edition at 10:00 AM. Included with your membership or admission.
• June 4-7: Explore the Ocean with Wonderhub at the Children’s Festival of Saskatchewan in Kinsmen Park! We’re bringing the Ocean, Freshwater, and Us Giant Floor Map to the Wonderhub tent. Included with festival admission.
• June 8: Wonder Camp: Ocean Themed. Registration required at wonderhub.ca/camps
• June 8, 10-14: Discover and Explore the Ocean, Freshwater, and Us Giant Floor Map with self-guided activity prompts to engage with the map. Included with your membership or admission.
  

Wonderhub is OPEN on June 8 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM which is a PD Day for Saskatoon Public Schools and Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools, and World Ocean Day!

Ocean Week Canada is an annual national celebration of ocean events, learning, and engagement held during the week of World Ocean Day (June 8). Through these events and learning activities, we recognize the important role the ocean plays in our everyday lives and how local waterways connect us all with the ocean. Even though we’re far from the coast, the ocean connects us all—through rivers, rainfall, history, and the economy. Ocean Week Saskatoon (OWS) is launching in 2025 to engage the community by providing a platform that features ocean and water-inspired events in Saskatchewan. OWS helps facilitate and promote inclusive and accessible community events, no matter how large or how small, with a focus on education, conservation, and fun that inspires us all to take action for the local waterways and ocean.
