Pink Shirt Day at Wonderhub – Supporting Sponsor: SaskTel
Pink Shirt Day aims to raise awareness of bullying in our schools, workplaces, homes and online. Wonderhub will expand Pink Shirt Day programming to a full-week inviting visitors to create and display a craft in Wonderhub’s Create Space that shares one action that participants will take to stop bullying.
The goal of this annual program is for participants to create a craft that they can either display or take home as a reminder that sometimes it takes just one voice, or one action, to stand up against bullying. This program is targeted toward ages 3 and up with the goal of intergenerational family engagement. The activities in Create Space will have open ended materials so that children of all ages are able to create a craft that is meaningful to them, that they can feel proud of.
