This year Nutrien Wonderhub will continue to build on the success of it’s much-loved Storyscapes Program, designed to serve as a vibrant hub connecting local artists, creators and community builders with children and families from Saskatoon and surrounding area. Hosted at Saskatchewan’s only children’s museum, this dynamic and inclusive program not only celebrates the art of storytelling but also serves as a catalyst for community connections. By embracing a multisensory approach and ensuring accessibility for participants, the program strives to enrich the lives of children and families while promoting the diverse narratives that contribute to the rich tapestry of our local community.
Location: Performance Hall (lower level) at Nutrien Wonderhub – 950 Spadina Crescent East | Saskatoon, SK
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Description of Program: This will be an interactive session where you can learn how to count in Cree, sing a song and play a game about numbers. Numbers 1-10 and the numbers song with the hopes of playing what time is it Mr. Wolf in Cree. Also included will be a couple of colouring pages of animals that have the Cree word on them to take home.
Cost: FREE!

Candace Longjohn-Constant. Candace Longjohn-Constant is a plains Cree teacher from Sturgeon Lake First Nation, she has been a teacher for 22 years and has a passion for teaching the Cree Language to all ages through total physical response and sometimes song and dance.
