📖✨ Storytime just got magical! Join us in the North Woods for a special Storytime with our friends from United for Literacy. 🌳 We’ll dive into engaging children’s books, enjoy fun activities, and every family gets to take home a free book to keep the adventure going at home!

This session, we’re reading two wonderful stories:

• Chaiwala! by Priti Birla Maheshwari — a sensory-filled story of a young girl and her mother stopping at a train station in Jaipur, India to buy spiced tea from a local vendor.
• Malaika’s Costume by Nadia Hohn — a heartwarming tale of a young girl who transforms scrap fabric into a parade costume with her grandmother’s help (This pairs perfectly with our Toon Town Tailor Shop, where kids can design their own outfits!).

After each story, families can dive into a craft and colouring inspired by the books to keep the fun going.

United for Literacy will also have a booth set up, so come say hi, chat with their team, and learn more about family literacy and how you can support literacy learning at home. See you there!
