Join us for Wonder Club: a drop-in program designed for curious minds of all ages! Each session invites children to dive into hands-on activities that spark creativity and critical thinking through exciting STEM challenges, imaginative storytelling, and engaging art projects. With a focus on exploration and collaboration, kids will have the chance to discover new interests, solve problems together, and unleash their imaginations. Join us for a journey of wonder and fun, where every week is a new adventure waiting to be explored.
This week: Get hands-on with engineering as you build your very own mini catapult using popsicle sticks and other simple materials. Experiment with force, motion, and simple machines as you test how far you can launch your object. Adjust, test your design, and discover how changing the force, angle, and distance can affect your launch! Build it. Test it. Launch it. Take it home! A fun, hands-on STEM drop-in where young engineers can create, experiment, and learn through play.
