When renovating the Mendel building, we took special care to retain its personality and charm while at the same time incorporating the colour and vibrancy you’d expect from a museum for kids. Nutrien Wonderhub has plenty of fun and exciting spaces for corporations, community organizations, and charities of all sizes to meet and enjoy a welcome change of scenery.
Whether you’re planning a gala or a business meeting, Nutrien Wonderhub has spaces across all three floors that can be adapted to suit your group. Our building offers views of neighbouring Kinsmen Park and, of course, the mighty South Saskatchewan River.

Prices listed below are for a two hour room rental during regular business hours. Extended rentals for half day or full day are possible, as well as After Hours rentals, but will incur additional charges.

We offer three colourful, wonder-filled meeting rooms on our upper mezzanine as well as spaces on the museum’s lower level to host groups of all sizes, including the option to have the museum all to yourself.
Located on the lower level, our Performance Hall is a versatile space featuring built-in wireless sound and lighting systems. The space also includes a curtain system to accommodate theatre and other productions.

Cost: $330 plus tax
*Seating is based on table configuration

Cost: $3,000 plus tax per four-hour time slot*
*Full facility rentals are only available outside of regular operating hours.
Payment and Cancellations
PAYMENT: A minimum 50% deposit must be made 30 days before your rental to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid 14 days prior to your rental date.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Rentals cancelled less than 14 days prior to the scheduled date will be charged 50% of the rental fees.
The Fine Print
- With the exception of a full facility rental, costs exclude admission to the museum (an additional $8.50/person).
- Full facility renters must secure onsite security for the event. Arrangements for set-up and take-down will vary according to special events, displays, and featured museum exhibits.
- Prices as listed are for a two-hour room rental during regular business hours. An extended duration or after hours function may be possible, but will incur an additional charge.
