Volunteer at Wonderhub
As a non-profit organization, Nutrien Wonderhub relies on the help of volunteers to deliver on our mission of providing a fun, inclusive environment for children and their grown-ups.
We are lucky to have a team of friendly, hard-working volunteers, but there’s always room for more! Check out our wonder-full volunteer opportunities:
As a Visitor Experience volunteer, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests. Working with our Visitor Experience Team, you’ll help us open and close the museum each day; assist with admissions, registration, and the gift shop; keep the museum looking its best; promote programs and membership options; and more.
As a Program Facilitator volunteer, you’ll assist and support the delivery of our growing programming menu. Working with our staff and contract Program Facilitators, you’ll lend a hand during Discovery Visits, Wonder Camps, Wonder in the Park and in Create Space and other events held during museum hours.
As a Wonder Wagon volunteer, You’ll assist or lead and support the delivery of our newest addition to our Program Facilitation – the Wonder Wagon. The Wonder Wagon is a “tickle trunk” on wheels and is designed to travel around the museum, and to the outdoors around Wonderhub, to engage with children and families. The Wonder Wagon is filled with building challenges, craft supplies, science experiments, storybooks and so much more.
Nutrien Wonderhub hosts signature events throughout the year; you’ll help ensure these events run smoothly, whether through day-of or onsite assistance or as a member of our planning and organizing committees.
Our two annual events are:
Discovery Dash – yearly in February
What’s For Dinner Fundraising & Entertainment Gala – yearly in June
