At STEAM Adventure, kids dive into exciting, hands-on activities every week that explore the worlds of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Through engaging projects and experiments, children develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills while having fun with interactive learning. From coding robots to creating art, each session sparks creativity and curiosity in young minds!

Ages: 6-10

June 29 – Boxtopia

Activity: Join us in our Boxtopia Exhibit in Spotlight as we bid farewell on this exhibit’s closing weekend. We’ll create imaginative structures, machines, or creatures from recyclable materials. Participants will learn about structures, simple mechanics, and artistic expression. Using our Make-do tools, participants may construct a cityscape, a working catapult, a cardboard creature, or an airplane. The only limit is our imagination! This STEAM Adventure encourages critical thinking, design skills, and creativity

June 1 – Pollination Station

Activity: Join us in Boxtopia as we learn all about our friends the pollinators! From bees, and wasps, to birds and bats, these creatures are all very important for the natural world. We’ll be learning more about how to care for them and identify them as we work together on building compostable cardboard planters we can take home to our own gardens.
