August 16 – Oobleck
Activity: In this hands-on activity, children can explore the fascinating properties of non-Newtonian fluids by experimenting with how they behave under different pressures. You will be able to squish, poke, and pour the fluid to observe how it acts like a solid when force is applied and flows like a liquid when at rest. This engaging experience helps young minds understand the science behind materials that don’t behave like typical liquids or solids!
