We’re accessible to everyone!

We are committed to enabling access for visitors with disabilities or special needs and believe this commitment creates an elevated museum experience for all.

It’s important to us that everyone who visits Nutrien Wonderhub is able to enjoy our exhibits and programming.

Our building complies with Facility Accessibility Design Standards. Inside, you’ll find a passenger elevator with access to all three levels; full stroller and wheelchair accessibility; gender neutral washrooms with expanded turning radius; adult change tables; and more.

Low Sensory Visits

At Nutrien Wonderhub, we recognize that our environment can be a bit overstimulating for individuals with disabilities. By providing a low sensory experience we are able to offer an experience for individuals with disabilities and their families. Our low sensory experience will run for 2 hours on select Mondays during the year. During those two hours we will limit our capacity, lower the lights, and reduce ambient noise in the museum.

Accessibility Initiatives

  • Sensory kits: For visitors with sensory sensitivities, our sensory kits (available at the front desk) include sound-reduction earmuffs, Irlen glasses, squigglets, and gloves. Sponsored by the Kinsmen Foundation.
  • Service animals: Service animals are always welcome at Wonderhub.

We are always looking for opportunities to build relationships and partner with community organizations that support and offer accessible services.
