Work is now planning to start with full closure of the University Bridge and College Drive between Clarence Avenue and Hospital Drive to private vehicles starting the week of April 6, 2026.

During the closure:

  • Emergency vehicle access to the hospital will be maintained throughout construction
  • Saskatoon Transit will be accommodated via the eastbound lanes of University Bridge and College Drive to the intersection of Hospital Drive for approximately 3 weeks, but will be detoured for the remainder of the closure.
  • Pedestrian access over the bridge will remain open on the south side of the bridge.

You can find more information on the City of Saskatoon website here.

We respectfully acknowledge that Nutrien Wonderhub is situated on Treaty 6 Territory, the ancestral lands of the Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Dakota, Lakota, and Nakota Peoples, and the traditional homeland of the Metis Nation.

We pay our respects to the past, present and future caretakers of these sacred lands, and dedicate ourselves and our organization to advancing truth and reconciliation in our community, and creating a safe and equitable space for all.
