Even though our new facility isn’t yet open to the public, we are still very much active in the community.
Connecting with children and their grown-ups outside of the museum has always been a top priority for us. Through outreach programming and community events, we create interactive, inclusive opportunities to spark curiosity and promote playful learning.
Bring the museum to your classroom with a Discovery School Visit! Each visit includes story time, interactive learning activities, and free play. Programs cover a number of Saskatchewan curricular outcomes and offer a unique learning experience for students and teachers.
We practice integrated STEAM learning (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) and incorporate cultural and social components to optimize educational outcomes.
As construction at the Mendel building continues, you can find us popping up around Saskatoon in the months leading up to our grand opening.
There are no events scheduled at this time.
StoryScapes is a drop-in program developed to engage children aged 3-12 through a variety of storytelling methods. The program is designed to inspire children to look beyond the book when learning or telling stories.
